Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to all business email services operated by SMARTNEXT and to every account hosted on our infrastructure. Acceptance of this policy is a condition of service.

Prohibited use

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Sending unsolicited email (spam) in any form.
  • Using purchased, rented, traded, or harvested mailing lists.
  • Bulk commercial or advertising email campaigns.
  • Forging headers, sender addresses, or any other data that conceals the true origin of a message.

Any breach of these terms results in immediate suspension of service.

Who may use our email service

We operate email only for customers with a verified business relationship with SMARTNEXT. We do not offer self-service signup, anonymous trial accounts, or bulk-mailing services.

Every account is provisioned individually by our staff after verifying the account holder. There is no self-registration mechanism.

Abuse reports

Abuse reports are received at abuse@mx1bx.com, an actively monitored mailbox.

  • We respond to every report within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Upon a substantiated report, we suspend the account involved while we investigate.
  • We trace the origin of the sending and apply the necessary corrections before any reinstatement.

Authentication and technical controls

  • The domains from which we operate email publish SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
  • All sending requires SMTP authentication. We do not operate an open relay.
  • Outbound email originates only from the IP addresses declared in the SPF record of the corresponding domain.

Microsoft programs

Our sending IP addresses are enrolled in Microsoft's SNDS (Smart Network Data Services) and JMRP (Junk Mail Reporting Program). We monitor the data and reports received through those channels.

Infrastructure

Our email infrastructure runs on dedicated servers, separate from our web servers. Outbound email does not originate from the servers that host websites.
